Chris Copeland

I’m Chris, I’m 25 years old, I live in Belfast but suffer from a serious case of wanderlust. My best friend also happens to be my fiance, Colleen. We have a crazy 5 year old girl together, Molly, the partially sighted golden retriever. I’m also one of those lucky people that loves their job.

I love photography. For me, great photography is visual story-telling. Full of emotion, something that touches us, makes us think, makes us remember and makes us feel. Whether I’m traveling and capturing the character of a city or country, or the connection within a portrait, I want the images I create to tell a story.

I strive to capture the authentic and beautiful moments in life, as they unfold before me, often fleeting but always real. Real people, real emotions, true storytelling. I love what I do and it’s a true pleasure and a privilege when someone entrusts me with capturing a part of their own story.

This journey is one that I hope will be a life-long one but one that has already proven to be truly enriching and rewarding. I’ve met lots of wonderful people as well as being fortunate enough to share my work in various publications, among them National Geographic (OMG!)

Like all good story-tellers, I’m always trying to refine my craft and grow, whilst staying creative. I document your journey, just the way it is, and seek to capture something that you will cherish now and in years to come, your story, your future memories.
